About

Lindsey Ruggles is a queer New York-based writer and director.

Her interest in using technology as a tool for narrative storytelling has led her to work in a variety of media, including theater, film, TV, and virtual reality in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles.

Her latest short film, How To Meal Prep During A Famine, was a finalist in the 2020 Slamdance Screenplay Competition and premiered at Cleveland International Film Festival in March 2023.

Her academic background in psychology and gender studies, paired with her fascination with the concept of motherhood, led her to write Echo Lake, which completed production in Fall 2024 and is Lindsey’s feature debut.

She is a graduate of Harvard University.

Lindsey develops and produces film, TV, theater, and VR content under Chromolume Productions.
